Hull & Back, Inc. (“Hull & Back,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates www.hullandback.com (the “Site”) and provides power washing and exterior cleaning services on Cape Cod and the surrounding area. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and what choices you have.

Short version: We collect only what we need to answer your questions, give you a quote, and schedule your service. We don’t sell your information. We use basic analytics to understand how people use our site, and that’s about it.

1. Information We Collect

Information you give us

When you fill out our quote form, call us, email us, or book a service, you may give us:

  • Your name, phone number, and email address
  • The address of the property you’d like serviced
  • Photos of the property you upload to help us prepare a quote
  • Notes about what you need washed
  • How you heard about us

Information collected automatically

When you visit our Site, we and our service providers may automatically collect:

  • Your approximate location (city-level, based on IP address)
  • The type of device and browser you’re using
  • The pages you visit and how long you spend on each
  • The website that referred you (e.g., a Google search or social media link)
  • Cookies and similar technologies (see our Cookie Policy)

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Respond to quote requests and provide accurate pricing
  • Schedule, perform, and follow up on services
  • Send you appointment confirmations, invoices, and service reminders
  • Improve our website and services based on how visitors use the Site
  • Comply with legal obligations (tax records, insurance, etc.)
  • Occasionally send you helpful seasonal reminders or special offers — you can unsubscribe anytime

3. Who We Share Information With

We don’t sell your personal information. We share limited information only with service providers that help us run our business, including:

  • Squarespace (website hosting and form delivery)
  • Google Analytics (anonymous usage statistics)
  • Email providers (to send quotes and service updates)
  • Accountants and insurance providers (as required to run our business)
  • Law enforcement, but only if legally required

4. How Long We Keep Your Information

We keep quote requests, service records, and customer communications for as long as we have an active relationship with you, plus the time required by law (typically 7 years for financial records). If you’d like us to delete your information sooner, contact us.

5. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • Request a copy of the personal information we have about you
  • Ask us to correct inaccurate information
  • Ask us to delete your information
  • Opt out of marketing emails (use the unsubscribe link, or email us)
  • Opt out of sale or sharing of your information (we don’t sell it, but you can confirm this)

To exercise any of these rights, email us at wash@hullandback.com. We’ll respond within 30 days.

6. Children

Our services and website are intended for adults. We don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe we have, contact us and we’ll delete it.

7. Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, but no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. If you have security concerns, contact us directly.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we’ll change the “Last updated” date at the top. Significant changes will be announced on the Site.

Cookie Policy

Last updated: April 18, 2026

This page explains what cookies are, which ones our website uses, and how you can control them. For more about how we handle your data generally, see our Privacy Policy.

Short version: We use a small number of cookies — mostly to make the site work and to see how many people visit. We don’t use cookies to build advertising profiles or sell your data. You can turn off non-essential cookies in the banner at the bottom of our site, or in your browser settings.

1. What Is a Cookie?

A cookie is a small text file that a website saves on your device when you visit. It lets the site remember things between pages and visits — like whether you’ve already dismissed a popup, or whether you came to our site from a Google search.

2. Types of Cookies We Use

Essential cookies

These keep the site working. They remember things like whether you’ve dismissed the cookie banner, and help our quote form submit properly. You can’t turn these off without breaking parts of the site.

Analytics cookies

We use Google Analytics to see how many people visit the site, which pages they read, and where they came from. This information is anonymized — we can’t tell who you are personally. It just helps us figure out whether our website is actually useful.

Marketing cookies

If we run ads on Facebook, Instagram, or Google, we may use cookies from those platforms to measure whether the ads work and to show relevant ads to people who’ve already visited our site. We’ll disclose it here if we start using them.

3. How to Control Cookies

You have several ways to control cookies:

  • Cookie banner: The banner on our site lets you accept or reject non-essential cookies.
  • Browser settings: Most browsers let you block cookies entirely or delete ones already saved. Search “manage cookies in [your browser]” for instructions.
  • Google Analytics opt-out: Install Google’s official browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

Blocking cookies may break some parts of the site, but the core information — services, pricing, how to contact us — will still work.

4. Do-Not-Track

Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” signal. Because there’s no industry agreement on how to respond to it, we currently don’t. You can block cookies directly using the options above.

Terms of Service

Last updated: April 18, 2026

These terms cover your use of www.hullandback.com and the services provided by Hull & Back, Inc. By using our site or hiring us, you agree to them. Our separate written estimate or work agreement for any specific job takes priority over these terms for that job.

1. Who We Are

Hull & Back, Inc. is a Massachusetts business providing power washing, soft washing, gutter cleaning, window cleaning, and related exterior services throughout Cape Cod and the surrounding area.

2. Scheduling and Cancellation

  • We schedule work based on weather, crew availability, and your preferred timing.
  • We may reschedule due to weather or safety concerns. We’ll give you as much notice as we can.
  • If you need to cancel or reschedule, please let us know at least 48 hours in advance to avoid a trip fee.
  • A deposit may be required for jobs over $1,000 or during peak season.

3. Access and Preparation

To do our job well, we need you to:

  • Provide access to an outdoor water spigot and clear walkways
  • Close windows and exterior doors before we arrive
  • Move vehicles and valuables away from the work area
  • Inform us of anything fragile, loose, or not safe to wash (decorative fixtures, security cameras, failing caulk, etc.)
  • Cover or move away any items that could be damaged by water or cleaning solution

3. What Could Go Wrong

We use professional equipment and proven methods to clean safely. Even so, older or damaged materials may behave unpredictably. We are not responsible for pre-existing damage revealed or worsened during cleaning, including:

  • Loose or failing paint, siding, or shingles
  • Rotted or damaged wood
  • Failing caulk, glazing, or window seals that allow water intrusion
  • Electrical fixtures that were already compromised
  • Fading or color variation caused by removing years of grime

We’ll walk through the property with you before starting and flag anything we think is at risk.

4. Payment

Payment is due upon completion unless other terms are agreed to in writing. We accept check, cash, and major credit cards. Unpaid invoices over 30 days may be charged a 1.5% monthly late fee.

5. Guarantee

If you’re not satisfied with our work, tell us within 7 days of completion and we’ll come back and make it right. We stand behind our work — but we can’t guarantee permanent results (mildew and algae come back over time, especially in shaded areas).

6. Website Use

You may use our website for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not:

  • Copy, reproduce, or resell our photos, text, or branding without permission
  • Attempt to hack, disrupt, or interfere with the site
  • Submit false quote requests or use the site to harass our team

7. Photos of Completed Work

We may photograph exteriors before and after service for marketing, training, and social media. We don’t include addresses or identifying details. If you’d prefer we don’t photograph your property, just let us know — no issue.

8. Limits of Liability

To the maximum extent allowed by Massachusetts law, our total liability for any claim arising out of our services or website is limited to the amount you paid us for the specific service in question. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Barnstable County, Massachusetts.

10. Changes

We may update these terms. The “Last updated” date at the top will always reflect the current version.
